Słubice was formerly known in German as Dammvorstadt. Until 1945 it was part of the city Frankfurt an der Oder. The current official name of Frankfurt an der Oder is Frankfurt (Oder) and the Jewish cemetery of Frankfurt an der Oder actually lies in Słubice in Poland. This is based on the burial books from 1677-1866. Data submitted courtesy of Katja Wolgast. For more information, please contact her at wolgast@uni-potsdam.de
